Description
This study examined the employment environment facing residents in the Central Area Michigan Works Consortium (CAMWC) region which consists of Gratiot, Ionia, Isabella, and Montcalm counties. By compiling and analyzing basic economic, demographic, and social data, researchers facilitated an understanding of labor market conditions and industry trends in the area. The study addressed economic conditions that shape the region’s potential need for training and job search assistance as well as the predicted future occupational and job needs.
