The Economic Impact of PlazaCorp Investments in Kalamazoo
PlazaCorp is making investments in buildings in downtown Kalamazoo. The first investment will be conversion of a building into a franchised hotel. The second is to convert adjacent buildings into mixed use development including space for retail, residential, and office functions. The Upjohn team will estimate the economic impacts of both the build out of buildings as well as the operations of the facilities after completion. The team will not use the data on residential build outs to estimate impacts. The finial report will be the output of theses combined impacts.
