Description
The Upjohn Institute and the Austin Chamber of Commerce have been in discussions about a place-based scholarship program for the Austin (Texas) region. The Austin Chamber of Commerce has requested that the Upjohn Institute undertake a cost study of a Promise scholarship program for the Greater Austin region. The project will involve the following steps: 1) Clarification of program design specifications in consultation with the Austin Chamber of Commerce and its stakeholder group, 2) Preparation of a draft cost estimate memorandum to include up to three eligibility scenarios, subject to feedback from stakeholders, and 3) A revised cost estimate delivered either as a memorandum or as a PowerPoint presentation.
