Description
Upjohn Institute staff worked with the Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) to: 1) estimate and deliver a new Worker Profiling and Reemployment Services (WPRS) model for Kansas unemployment insurance (UI) beneficiaries; 2) validate the new WPRS model for Kansas implemented by the KDOL; and 3) extend use of the WPRS to rank effectiveness of reemployment services. The services ranking based on WPRS may be used by Kansas as a targeted strategy for their Reemployment and Eligibility Assessment (REA) initiative for UI beneficiaries. Researchers also suggested to KDOL an evaluation strategy for targeted reemployment services.
