This project studied trade and employment effects in the United States of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Three aspects are emphasized: (1) the relationship between trade and employment in the U..S. in the NAFTA era, (2) U.S. employment policies responding to NAFTA, and (3) special issues in the U.S. context.
