Description
Using investment and employment data supplied by the Project Alpha team to the Regional Growth Partnership in Toledo, Ohio, we will estimate the economic impact of a soy bean processing facility. The estimates will be created using the FirstEnergy REMI model. Estimates will be created for investment centered on building the facility as well as employment needed to operate the facility. The impacts reported as estimates on the state of Ohio and the northwest Ohio region will include changes in total employment, personal income, gross state product, output, local and state income tax, sales tax and commercial activities tax (CAT). The report will be created in Power Point.
