This repository presents the research and writings of Upjohn Institute researchers and labor economists as well as the Upjohn Press books published since 1980.
Research focuses on the causes and consequences of unemployment, including studies on:
- social insurance and income maintenance programs
- earnings and benefits
- worker compensation and worker disability
- economic development and local labor markets
- family labor issues and work arrangements
- workforce quality, education, and training
- low-income and low-skill workers
- the dynamics of job reallocation
