Description
The Workforce Innovation Fund grant will be used to assist the Southwest Michigan Employer Resource Network, a group of ten Kalamazoo and Calhoun area employers, improve job retention rates across Southwest Michigan, create a more skilled workforce and expand into Branch and St. Joseph counties. The funding will be utilized to train new employees, hire skilled workers and secure the services of “success coaches.” In addition, the grant has a research component to help the network evaluate its own internal services.
