Title
Georgia Worker Profiling and Reemployment Services (WPRS) Model Update
Project Dates
05/01/2009 - 03/31/2010
Description
The Upjohn Institute estimated, evaluated, and delivered a new Worker Profiling and Reemployment Services (WPRS) model to the state of Georgia. Public Law 103-152 enacted in 1993 requires state employment security agencies to profile unemployment insurance (UI) beneficiaries who are neither awaiting recall nor union hiring hall members. The WPRS model will be used by Georgia to select UI beneficiaries most likely to exhaust their UI entitlements for quick referral to reemployment services.
