Description
Chris O’Leary worked with Wayne Vroman of the Urban Institute to estimate the costs of alternative strategies for unemployment insurance (UI) modernization under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. A complete examination of existing and possible alternative UI benefit and financing provisions was completed for Kentucky. A UI financing simulation model was used to balance projected benefit and revenue requirements for Kentucky for coming years.
