The report provided estimates on the employment, income, and population impact of Kalamazoo-Battle Creek International Airport (AZO) on the area. These included: 1) The economic contributions the people who work at the airport (public and private) make to the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek region; 2) The increase in the cost of doing business in the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek region if the airport were to close; and 3) The impact of loss of related-airport business in the region if the airport were to close.
