Description
The M.O.S.T. Program (Mobile Outreach Skills Training Program) is an innovative program that provides fast-track, intensive, customized training for dislocated and unemployed workers for identified job openings with participating firms. This research effort was to estimate 1) the cost-savings to state and federal agencies in the resulting reduction of public assistance costs; 2) the increase in state and federal revenues due to increased tax revenues; and 3) the spinoff employment and fiscal impacts associated with the participating firms employing the program’s workers.
