Description
FirstEnergy uses the Upjohn Institute and its partner, Juniper Solutions, for internal analysis of economic conditions, economic impacts and real estate analysis. Upon request of the client, the Upjohn/Juniper team will supply similar services to units of local government and economic development organizations (EDO) within their service delivery areas (SDA) of Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey. Part of the activities in 2018 will be to present economic outlooks as well as regional forecasts at regional meetings in their SDA. Also, and within limitations of scope and budget, our work will support the needs of the economic development group in answering the questions that may be unique in nature.
